This Thanksgiving holiday, I am reminded that in the hustle and bustle of it all, I am truly thankful for many things.  I am thankful for my friends and colleagues.  I am truly blessed to have friends that I can call colleagues and colleagues that I can call friends.  I have friends that have seen me through the best and worst of times.  I hope I support my friends as much as they have supported me in over the years in the many aspects of my life.

I am grateful for having the opportunity to work with such a wonderful group of students every year.  My job seems chaotic and I definitely yell a lot. I just see the result of the students and their progress every year makes me excited to know that I have had a small part in their growth as human beings and hopefully good students.

I am thankful for my family.  My family gives me love, strength, and supports me even when they don't agree with my decisions or positions on anything.

Finally, I am thankful & overwhelmed by the love and support of my husband (who will probably never read this…).  He allows me the opportunity to be there for my students and he is always there for my family and me.  I hope you all have something to be thankful for this holiday season.  Please share with me what you are thankful for and post on to my blog.  Happy Thanksgiving.
