October already...

Wow… It’s already October.  I can’t believe that a month has gone by in the classroom. I am learning to find a balance between when to use the technology and when to use just good old fashion “paper & pencil”.  My class will be submitting projects to me soon. I love Edmodo too.  My student responses are much more thoughtful in most cases.  I love the fact that students are responding more in math with written responses about math that are grammatical sound.  The journey continues…

Getting ready to have kids use iPads to submit projects. My robotics class has done well using the iPads: 2 projects- one building mini satellite Orions and video taping the experience of working to build something in a group; second project- filming a listening activity between 2 students.  Math and Science projects are coming along. Hopefully, I will be able to blog about them in the coming weeks.
